CHS Preserves History
The History of Clarinda is very important to our school and we wanted to find a way to preserve the memories for those that have walked the halls of CHS over the years and the many more to come. We have been working on a site for close to 2 months with many hours of research and we still have much more to go. CHS welcomed their first class in the mid 1800’s so with that being said we do please ask for your patience on giving us time to continue to add information over the next year. We know there may be things we don’t find so if you see an important part of history missing or incorrect please email Crystal Parra at Cparra@clarindacsd.org or Mr. Porter at Jporter@clarindacsd.org.
On this site you will be able to locate all Academic, Activity and Athletic Accomplishments as well as groups and teams throughout the years. We truly hope you enjoy looking through the years as much as we have enjoyed researching for the site. CHS has so many things to be Proud of and we are Proud to share them with all who visit our district.
You are able to access this link one of two ways.
-When coming to the High School you will notice a new touch screen TV installed in the commons. It will have our daily calendar and announcements on the screen. Please feel free to go up and select the area in which you would like to browse or simple hit the magnified glass, type in a last name and search for who you would like to locate.
-You can visit our school website and under activities there is a link you may click from anywhere in the world. Please feel free to share with others. http://clarinda.touchpros.com/Home2.aspx
We would like to thank Nodaway Valley Historical Museum for allowing us to come in and locate many of these cherished memories. Please remember to check back often as items are added daily.
