Advanced Placement CHS Students
Iowa Advanced Placement Online is a program that has been offered now for 16 years at Clarinda High School. The students use online technology to complete assignments and tests. It is a rigorous curriculum that takes 10 hours a week to complete, and is offered to sophomores, juniors and seniors. Mrs. Carper serves as the mentor by advising students and proctoring quizzes and tests. Mrs. Almelien is the site coordinator.
AP classes offered are: U.S. History, Microeconomics, English Language and Composition, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, English Literature and Composition, Macroeconomics, Physics 1, Physics 2, U.S. Government & Politics, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Psychology, Spanish, and Computer Science A (Java).
