Clarinda Math Students place at NWMSU
The Clarinda High School TAG math students competed Thursday, March 16, in the Math Olympiad at NWMSU. There were over 430 math students at the event. The Clarinda teams competed in the 2A Division.
Jesse Espinosa received 12th Place Junior in all class divisions.
The Junior Team of Jesse Espinosa, Raymond Nellis and Austin Gutknecht received 3rd place in 2A.
All students competed in the Problem-Solving Competition in the afternoon.
Students participating were: Freshmen: Connor Stull, Alex Baker, McKenzie Slough, Kory Rogers, Ethan Herzberg, Samantha Eberly, and Isabel Solivan. Sophomores: Tamara-Jo Schaapherder, and Storm Howard. Juniors: Jesse Espinosa, Austin Gutknecht, Raymond Nellis, Madolyn Clark and Carly Rahn. Seniors: Carlton Rahn. Sam Baldwin, Levi Frazier and Jared Kirsch.
