FFA FRUIT SALES SUCCESSFUL
The Brokaw FFA Chapter had a successful fundraiser once again this school year with its annual fruit sales. The chapter sold $25,311.52 worth of fruit, meats, cheeses, candies, and cookie dough’s, profiting $8,500. Cori Bebout was this year’s top fruit salesperson, selling close to $2,000 worth of fruit. Selling over $1,000 worth of fruit this year were: Will Mellencamp ($1,420), Noah Carlson ($1,077), Skie Campbell ($1,063), and Tate Hughes ($1,013.50). Congratulations to these five individuals for being top fruit salespeople this year. The chapter had many members reach the goal of forty units per member, and they will be treated to a fun day of skiing at Mt. Crescent in February, along with other prizes. Top selling class this year was the senior class, and they were rewarded with a breakfast pizza party. The money raised from our fruit sales goes to many things, including paying for FFA convention trips, leadership camps and workshops, entry fees for contests, and financing our parent/member banquet. Thank you to all community members who supported our local FFA chapter by purchasing fruit this year.
