Spelling Bee
The Fourth Grade Spelling Bee was held January 28, 2015, at Garfield Elementary. Students were given a written spelling test to determine the top spellers in the entire grade prior to the Bee. Twenty-four students competed in the 4th Grade Spelling Bee. Our two contestants for the Page County Spelling Bee to be held at Shenandoah Middle School at 6:30 on Monday, February 16th are Arin Wittler and Ronnie Weidman. Avery Walter is the alternate contestant. Congratulations to all the students who made this competition possible.
The Page County Spelling Bee is open to the public. Other schools competing will be from Shenandoah, Essex, South Page, and the Clarinda Lutheran School. Students in grades four through eight will compete to become the Page County Champion. The champion will continue in competition at the District Spelling Bee in Omaha. Good luck to Arin, Ronnie, Avery, and the students at the Middle School who will be representing the Clarinda Community School District.
