6th Grade Stem Project
Mrs. Hiser's sixth grade class spent the week doing a stem project in social studies. We learned about the spies during the Revolutionary War. Women would hang their laundry on the line and different pieces of clothing sent clues to the war ships in the New York Bay. The British had no idea the women were sending messages to their soldiers. Students created their own code and clothes lines. The lines had to be able to stand and hold paper clothes (clues) without them dragging on the table.
