STEM Festival
During the second night of parent teacher conferences, over 300 students in kindergarten through eighth grade and their families were invited to the STEM Festival that was located at the middle school gym. Many local businesses and community members volunteered their time and activities for students to experience. The purpose of the STEM Festival was to have a hands-on activity for the student to get exposure into many different career areas. We had a variety of careers from ice fishing, veterinary, computer science, dance, and many more. Students received a free STEM bag as well as a free meal. A huge thank you to all who helped make the 2019 STEM Festival a success! Be expecting more festivals in the future. If you’d like to be a part of the festival, contact Emily Thompson at (712) 542-4510 or ethompson@clarindacsd.org.
