Cardinal Fund

Dear Alumni and Friends:

Providing students with enriched curriculum offerings, educational opportunities outside the classroom and top notch facilities and equipment are important factors necessary to ensure that all Clarinda students obtain the highest quality of education.

The Cardinal Fund Program was created to assist in this endeavor. Clarinda joins over 100 school districts in Iowa which have established school foundation programs.

We are asking for your help, as alumni and friends, in our efforts to improve the educational experience and provide our students with the resources to continue to be in the vanguard of primary and secondary education. The Cardinal Fund will accept donations for specific projects in the following areas:

*scholarships        * facilities
*programs             * general (unrestricted)

Funds contributed may either be expendable or endowed which will help sponsor programs and activities in these areas for years to come. Gifts to the Cardinal Fund will not be used to pay operating expenses, but will be used to enhance school programs that are not available from current budgets. Gifting to the Cardinal Fund may be in the form of cash, life insurance policies, appreciated securities, real estate or through retirement plans. In cooperation with the Clarinda Community School District, the Clarinda Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, will receive gifts and assume fiscal responsibilities of those gifts received. All gifts received are tax deductible.

Please join our efforts to build financial resources that will help us to provide broader educational opportunities to our students. Through your generosity you will receive the appreciation and gratitude of students and teachers working together in the hope of a better tomorrow.
