Variety Show
Forty-three CHS students participated in the 2017 Variety Show held on November 7th. Many talented students wowed the audience with singing, dancing, playing instruments, storytelling, and poetry. Several students also helped with technical assistance, from moving equipment between acts, running lights and sound, and introducing the performers between acts, to planning, baking, and helping put together the silent and live auctions. This was truly a student-led performance!
In conjunction with the performance, the CHS Choir held silent and live auctions of donated items and free will donation baskets at the doors, all to benefit the CHS Choir program activity fund. All of these donations added up to $935 to benefit CHS Choir! Thanks so much to those who helped organize and those who gave so generously. Special thanks to Mr. Balster for use of space and equipment, Mr. Porter for being co-emcee with Hunter Crawford, and the local business who donated to the silent and live auctions. CHS Choir will be featured next at their Winter Concert on December 11th in the High School Auditorium. Don’t miss it!
