CHS Variety Show
On November 7th, Clarinda High School will be presenting a Variety Show at 7:00 PM in the CHS Auditorium. Auditions were held the first week of October, with a variety of acts from singing, dancing, instrumental music, and storytelling. There will be two acts, consisting of 25 total selections from over 40 performers. In addition to these talents, the show will be cohosted by CHS senior Hunter Crawford and High School Principal Mr. Josh Porter. Stage Managing the production will be sophomore and CHS Choir member Hannah Powers.
Mrs. Julie Murren, CHS vocal music teacher and director for the production, states, “We have such an amazing amount of talent at CHS. I was absolutely overwhelmed by the quality of the auditions, and I’m so excited to put on such a fun filled and energetic production.”
CHS Choir is presenting this production as a free will donation fundraiser for choir robes and other supplies. Choir members include: Taylor Adams, Karli Ballinger, Kami Beal, Megan Birkholtz, Dara Brandt, Aubrey Buelow, Taylor Byrd, Anna Chambers, Dana Cripe, Julie Cruz, Maicy Darrah, Faith Espinosa, Nicole Givens, Hannah Haffner, Rylee Maxwell, Emma McCormick, Ashlynne McKown, Chloe Meyer, Hannah Powers, Morgan Pruitt, Brianna Reed, Ashlynn Roberts, Evelin Rodriguez, Chandra Sickels, McKenzie Slough, Isabel Solivan, Natalie Wheeler, and Eben Wulbecker. The show will also showcase special performances by Samantha Eberly, Jesse Espinosa, Damon Nally, Hazel MorganFine, Kari VanNostrand, Aiden Shatava, Kennedy Reed, Olivia Plowman, Dylan Fahey, Anna Hull, Amanda Pace, Seth Ohden, and Jordan Fasnacht.
