General Information
403(b) Investments – Retirement Investment Club (RIC)
Saving for your retirement is easy through payroll deduction via the Iowa Dept of Administrative Services Retirement Investment Club (RIC). Did you know that the average IPERS covered employee retires at a 44% benefit? (See video for details.) With this in mind, savings for retirement beyond Social Security and IPERS is important to consider.
RIC selects providers through a public competitive bid process and the CORE providers are Horace Mann, MassMutual, VALIC, and Voya. These providers successfully proposed investment products for 2016 and beyond that meet the requirements and level of excellence set by RIC’s Investment Policy. The CORE providers can be found at: https://das.iowa.gov/RIC/403b/providers
