Julie received her Masters of Science Degree in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with an emphasis in Educational Media. She also has a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Morningside College. Prior to teaching in Clarinda, Julie taught music in Sioux City and New Market. Her husband Howard, is a Technical Specialist at AKS. They have 2 sons, Nicolas & Nathan. Julie enjoys walking, reading, cheering on the Denver Broncos, and spending time with her family.
